Path Lite’s patent pending flashlight only works when the entire device is powered.

Path Lite’s tip cap is a magnetic connection. Simply pull the cap away from the body of the device to remove the cap. When you’re ready to put it back on, line the cap up with the device and it will magnetically snap into place.

Twist the mouthpiece at the top of Path Lite to remove it, then tip the device downward and the glass tube will slide out-but be careful to not let the glass tube fall and break.
